Full preparation for IELTS academic

This course is designed to provide candidates with opportunities to develop and enhance their skills in order to take IELTS academic. In this course, you will learn about the four different modules of the test in detail, and also work on your skills. There is a 4-participant limit, so I will be able to provide you with a more 'hands-on' approach. I will offer you opportunities to practice the test and ask any questions you may have. I will also give you individual feedback on your performance in writing and speaking!

This is a 6-week online preparation course aimed at candidates who both want to learn more about the test and get some specialist feedback on their performance.

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most popular English language proficiency test for higher education and global migration, with over 4 million tests taken in the last year. IELTS assesses all of your English skills — reading, writing, listening and speaking, and is designed to reflect how you will use English at study, at work, and at play, in your new life abroad.

There are two different test formats. One for people who want to study abroad (Academic) and one for people who want to live abroad (General Training). The listening and speaking tests are the same for both formats, but the reading and writing tests are different. The diagram below illustrates the difference between the two formats.
